The College of Wood Technology is located in the small city of Bad Wildungen, some 45 km southeast of Kassel and 150 km north of Frankfurt (Map). Bad Wildungen is a traditional spa surrounded by beautiful forests.

Some kilometers east of Bad Wildungen the National Park "Kellerwald-Edersee" ist located. Here you can experience the "largest coherent complex of Luzulo-Fagetum beech grove in Central Europe on a surface of almost 6,000 hectares. Here is where our “wilderness of tomorrow” is evolving."
